2017 National Anthem Singer - Rachel Sevilla

Rachel Sevilla is a sixteen-year-old high school student, currently attending Fremont Christian School. Through Fremont Christian School, she sings in the Concert Choir and Living Water Vocal Ensemble, where she has had the opportunity to sing in Carnegie Hall in the years 2015 and 2017. Alternating every other year with Carnegie Hall, she also performs with her high school choir in the ACSI Musicale Festival in Pasadena. She competes in the NCN Fine Arts competition yearly and was the 2017 Regional Merit Winner of the Sr. Female Vocals category. She starred as Cinderella in Fremont Christian's musical production of "Cinderella" last May.

Rachel has had a growing passion for singing since childhood, as music is a huge part of her life. As well as singing, she plays the piano, ukulele, and guitar. Rachel is excited to be a part of the 2017 Fremont 4th of July Parade and is honored to sing the National Anthem to kick off the parade.
