The Family of James "Jim" Sakane

Earlier this year, our community lost a Fremont icon. We were all surprised and deeply saddened by the passing of James "Jim" Sakane, a great kind man. In honor and respect, we are pleased to announce that his family will be showcased as our Honorary Grand Marshals. The parade was one of Jim's favorite Fremont events to photograph. He had an incredible gift of capturing the spirit of all the events he filmed. We will truly miss him and are proud to be able to honor him and his family.
